LA DONA!/ IRON ROSE EPISODE 1💕💕 RECAP!!! ALTAGRACIA MEETS HER MATCH!!!

EPISODE 1...💞💛

The scene opens with a back voice of a woman she is talking about abused women hiding behind the concrete walls of the city, women of all ages who have been abused by misogynist men in the past and are hiding behind their work. The camera then zooms in to show us a Lady Altagracia standing at the edge of an unfinished building. She says that she knows these women because she was one of them. Flashing images of young Altagracia sacrificing herself to save her sister Regina from those men are shown as one by one the men begin to rape her. She then comes back to present time and a man (Braulio) approaches her. Braulio tells her that he is there for her as he has always been. He looks a bit scared to approach the edge of that building.  Altagracia recognizes him as her lawyer. She wants to know what the people living in deplorable conditions in what seems to resemble a small slum right opposite large building are still doing there, why haven't they evicted them or they want her to do it herself??

Meanwhile down at the small slum the people are making posters reading No to eviction!! Don Jaime is the leader of the pack and he seems to be supervising the small act of protest. Lydia comes running inside alerting the people there that the woman who wants to evict them has arrived. Don Jaime answers with “La Doña ” then everyone runs outside.

They are all now looking up as Altagracia looks down on them. Altagracia tells Braulio that the people down there looking up look like insects, vermin. Don Jaime is talking to the people telling them that Altagracia peers down on them thinking she is god. The woman next to him(Azucena) thinks she is the devil and can feel her bad vibes from way down there. Jaime is not about to sit down and let Altagracia win, he wants to go confront La doña since she refused to talk to him. Azucena holds him back telling him that its probably dangerous to confront her but Jaime tells her that La doña wants them to live in fear and he is not going to stand for that.  Braulio wants Altagracia to continue with the inspection. They go inside the building where the workers are as Jaime gets the people to go after Altagracia.

Meanwhile inside she speaks to Guillermo, the supervisor of the construction giving him instructions. Some guy called Ramon Ortiz is gnawing at her. She asks and he doesn't deny saying delightfully that it's not everyday that he gets to see a woman quite as beautiful as her.  Altagracia asks Gulliermo why he didn't tell this new worker the rules and Gulliermo replies that he told them not to take liberties with her. Altagracia tells Ramon that his first day is also his last.  Ramon us shocked and wonders why,  his friend tries to tell him to defend the lady but he also gets his as kicked out.  She only wants hardworking men working for her,  she doesn't need anyone to such up and defend her and needs workers who know better than to stare😂😂



Saul Aguire is in a court defending a woman named Margarita. Apparently she has been jailed without any concrete proof other than the word of a man who is seemingly lying. Saul is exposing that the man keeps changing his statement and wants to put a poor woman who was the victim of rape and abuse at the hands of a politician in jail. Saul tells the court that that witness is a false one and is definitely the criminal here.  The people in the court stand up to defend the woman as the court is out of order.


Back at the site,  the people are standing at the gate attempting to go inside when a huge guard stops them. He is carrying a gun and the people are complaining that he can't stop them from going in. Altagracia shows up and tells them that he can because that is private property.  Jaime Complains and his wife Azucena supports him. He tells her that she can't take what belongs to him and leave him and his tenants homeless. Bradley tells them that Altagracia wants to build a parking lot for her building which will create a lot of jobs. They protest and she tells them that they are exploiting her over a land that doesn't even being to them. She doesn't negotiate with swindlers. She walks away amidst their protests,  gets into her vehicle like a boss and drives off😂😂😂



She then calls up her contacts in the media,  Valera is Braulio's wife.  She needs a favor.  Everyday with the people living there her company losses millions. She wants the police to arrest that man Jaime for challenging and insulting her. She is video calling three people at once,  Valera gets the police to arrest Jaime,  the man at the middle makes sure her image is clean and people are at her side and Leiticia the reporter makes sure that the press is there during the attack and Jaime's image is ruined so that he looks like the bad guy in the story.  Her team are on it. 😂😂



Margarita's case is heating up as it turns out that the police abused her, beat her up to confess to a crime that she did not commit and denied her a medical check up telling her that she got raped because she was wearing short skirts😒😒😡😡😬😬 Saul tells the judge that he wants the case against Margarita closed because it's obvious that the ones accusing her are the guilty ones. The judge has no other choice than to let Margarita go because of lack of evidence. Saul promises to go after the corrupt cop but tells Margarita that she should just go home for now and celebrate with her family.


Altagracia is home and asks the maid for her family.  The maid tells her that her husband is in their bedroom but she wasn't referring to Felipe. Regina her sister and Isabella her niece come out to greet her.  Regina has been cooking and Altagracia thinks that she shouldn't since she has hired cooks to do that.  Altagracia doesn't want Isabella to be going out of the house without her body guards since someone might want to hurt her. Isabella doesn't understand why Altagracia thinks all men are monsters. She leaves as her mother remembers the ordeal of that night when Altagracia sacrificed herself for her. She starts tearing up and Altagracia tells her to continue cooking since it will stop her from crying.  They head to the kitchen.


Later on Altagracia goes in to talk to Felipe. He has a birthday gift for her.  He tells her that she is his birthday gift and he wants to pamper her.  He also wants them to take a trip to the beach where they can get away from it all. She doesn't seem too interested. Felipe tells her that they need to get away for a while. He still wants her just like the first time they met and thinks that their marriage is not exactly where it was a couple of years back.  They rarely ever make love anymore😱😱



Saul has gone to celebrate winning the case with his girlfriend. They are kissing and he likes the type of celebration after winning a case.  He admits that they make a good team and it wouldn't be the same without her as she undresses him and he carries her into the room to make love. 😂😂😍



Saul is making love to his girlfriend and it's spicy and hot. 🔥🔥🔥 he loves making love to her, she loves being his... Meanwhile things are different in the Valanzuela mansion. We are treated to the most awkward love making my eyes have ever seen.  Altagracia is on top of Felipe,  she has refused to look at him and is choking him telling him that the lack of oxygen increases pleasure. It's kind of like death.  After the very intense see scene, she goes on to bath as does Felipe. After bath Felipe goes to have a meal specially made for him by Regina for his birthday.  Felipe tells her that her food cheers him up because sometimes he finds it hard to understand whether Altagracia is with him coz she loves him or for his political ambitions.



Altagracia enters a secret room behind her closet that looks like a shrine😱😱😨 This is witchcraft on another level😂😂 She remembers Felipe asking her why she never looks at him while they make love and tells herself that it's because she is disgusted by him and all men. The only sensation she wants to inspire in men is seeing them shrivel in their own misery.  She then takes off her robe and is holding candles telling the shrine (thinking she is actually worshiping that place)  that it is the place that rescued her body.  She is offering herself to that place😂😂😂😂... She remembers the markings on the men's bodies and tells her Idol to bring them to her, she will kill them one by one with her own hands for what they did to her father and to Ceaser(those thugs killed her parents and Cedar who was her first love got himself shot trying to defend her and Regina.


Meanwhile Saul is back home with his girlfriend and Azucena(his mother) tells him how his father  was drugged out of the neighborhood by the cops.  Saul cannot stand for this and goes to the station making threats about how unlawful the arrest was until they let him see his father. He then talks to his dad. He doesn't understand why they would do this to such an upright man his father tells him that LA dona is the one behind this. Saul needs to confront her but Jaime warns him that she is very influencial and has body guards all around her. Saul then investigates this case and finds out that the judge in charge of taking his father to jail was Valera who happens to be Braulio's wife,  Altagracia's right hand man and lawyer. He tells his girlfriend over the phone that he is going to confront this woman and though she thinks it a very bad idea there is no way of stopping him.


The crowd has already arrived.  Braulio's wife thinks that Altagracia is a very eccentric millionaire and Braulio's thinks she always gets what she wants. Altagracia has already been dressed in the finest clothes and is looking so gorgeous. She and Felipe are announced to the crowd and arrive arm in arm to the applause of the crowd. Later Valera is talking to Altagracia with Braulio by her side.  Valerian tells Altagracia that the old geezer is already behind bars and Altagracia thinks that she should hush it lest Felipe hears it. Valerian continues blabbing telling her that Felipe already knows that she has her ways and but Altagracia tells Braulio to shut his wife up. She didn't appoint her as judge so that she can be blabbering like a teenager.




Diego arrives and Altagracia asks him whether he has seen her niece Isabella. Diego tells her no and she insists that he should look for her because her niece is golden. After she walks away,  Braulio tells his nephew that if Altagracia wants him to be with her niece then she should go for it and not make her angry.  Altagracia finds Isabella somewhere very secluded and tells her that Diego was looking for her.  Isabella is not interested in Diego because he is boring as she says but Altagracia tells her that Diego is a good boy and she will make sure that he treats her like a queen.  She is sure that Diego would never hurt her and thinks that it's better  that he is weak because men are meant to be used. Regina comes over at that moment and asks Isabella to leave them alone. She then tells her that she will not allow her to use her daughter to fill up the void left by her own daughter!! That statement is met by a hot slap from Altagracia. She reminds Regina that that girl is not her daughter,  she doesn't care what happened to her over these twenty years but hopes she gets what she deserves.

Monica is playing music in the streets.  She is singing beautifully and the delighted crowd applauds her while adding more coins to her guitar case. Some two guys come running over to her and tell her that something happened to her dad. Monica runs over to the house and finds Lazaro,  her dad unconscious on the ground. They tend to him and he awakens after some time. He tells the guys to get lost. He just wants to die and stop being a burden to Monica but Monica informs him that she already got some money to help them out with the doctor. She wants to go to seek medical attention in the city but Lazaro doesn't want to. He doesn't want his daughter to cross paths with the woman that abandoned her.  Monica tells him if she gets to see that woman she will put her in her place but her main issue is getting Lazaro good health.



So Altagracia apologizes to Regina for slapping her.  Regina wonders why she never even looked at her daughter and Altagracia tells her that wherever the girl is, she should feel lucky that her life was spared. Altagracia tells Regina that she wants to be alone. Meanwhile Saul's girlfriend tells his mum that Saul has gone to confront La Dona and the two are off to the party to stop him. Saul is already at the party,  he scans the place and then pays off a waiter to get him a suit.  Valera is scolding Braulio because he did not defend her when Altagracia was humiliating her earlier. He accuses her of being in love with Altagracia and not loving Diego and her enough.  Braulio tells her that she shouldn't misbehave in front of such honorable guests and should network instead of talking nonsense.  Valerian is on her way out when Saul craftily flirts with her and uses her as a means to get into the invite only exclusive party.  While Valeria seems distracted,  Saul disappears and goes looking for Altagracia. Valeria is left wondering who he was since she was distracted before she could learn his name.



Saul asks for directions and goes after LA dona. He spots her climbing down the stairs and asks her from afar...
“Are you La Dona??»”
She continues climbing down... Saul insists...

“Are you la Dona” he is now standing in front of her when she turns to face him...

“And who might be asking?”
“I am the son of Jaime Aguire,  the man that you and your thugs put in prison for no reason”
“How dare you speak to me so informally?? No man ever..!”
“What?? You have never met someone who put you in your place??  Well the night is still young mi dona!”
