WEEKS LATER! We kick off this episode in the prison where Saul has been kept for weeks. His mother has brought him food but he tells his mother that he isn't hungry.
He tells her that he can't forgive himself for not being there for mono when she was attacked by Gabino. Azucena tells him that he shouldn't blame himself for what happened. Meanwhile Karen and Jorge are still searching the junkyards for the scrapes of Braulio's car. Karen is frustrated, she just doesn't have hope that they will finds anything, they still haven't covered all the junkyards in the country. Jorge reminds her that she is the one who always encourages them to be persistent. Karen has had it, enough with persistence she throws the documents she has down as Jorge finds something that looks like the one in the picture . He tells Karen about it, Karen compares the scrape and the picture and see a similarities. She thanks Jorge for soldering on, this is definitely a start. 😂😂😂
Alta Gracia is in her house and she is looking super cute today. 😍😍😍 She is talking over the phone about the construction company and how they cannot afford to waste any time or money in their projects. Regina comes over and tells her about the good news of Monica's discharge. AG already knew because the doctors informed her. Regina tells her that she knows she is happy, even though she denies it, something changed within her ever since she found Monica at the point if death. She tells her that maybe that's the reason why she hasn't gone to see Saul all this time. Altagracia doesn't want to talk about that 😂😂😂 Regina asks her what if Monica comes to confront her? AG tells her that she doesn't think Mono will be coming to her house since maybe she doesn't really remember. Regina tells her that Mono sounded very convinced when she confronted her. Ag tells her that maybe Monica chose not to confront her and stay away for the best. Regina can imagine what AG did to Gambino even though she hasn't told her. AG asks her if she would judge her if she told him that she really did kill him? Wouldn't she want to do the same for Isabella? Regina understands but asks her what she is planning to do to Rafael since he escaped and went for a trip abroad. “Are you planning to do the same thing you did to Gambino to Rafael?? ”.... Silence!!
Monica is out if the hospital and she has Laz, Felipe, Adolfo, and Yemenis waiting for her outside. Lazaro was pretty anxious and is happy when Monica runs(miraculous recovery) to hug him. It's an emotional encounter, she tells him that he is the one he loves most. She greets everyone around there, they all seem to be happy about her discharge. Felipe can't join them in the celebrations because he still has some campaign issues to attend to 😂. Monica runs after him and thanks him for taking care of her father and making sure that he never missed any of his sessions. She apologizes for how rude she was before and he forgives her. They hug it out. Meanwhile Yemenis and Lazaro are busy gossiping about Monica wondering if she remembers her suspicions about Altagracia. They think that she has been very quiet in the issue and might have forgotten due to the trauma. She might also be feigning to avoid upsetting them, either way, it's all good for now.
Isabella comes over to the restaurant where Diego works. So Diego is a little bit of a snob when it comes to work and isn't tending time the customers as well as he should and would rather use his phone to keep looking for Lydia 😏 Isabella shows up with a complete picknic bag and tells him that she wants to treat him to lunch. They go out into a field. Isabella is enjoying the scenery and wondering why Diego never took her there before. Diego tells her that she never paid any attention to him. Isabella tells him that her taste have changed, she now appreciates nature more, she hadn't told him this out if respect to Emilianos memory and because he was with her (Referring to Lydia) but she needs to tell him that “Yes Diego I love you! ” she kisses him but Diego doesn't reciprocate 😂😂😂 she asks him if he usually kisses like a dead statue or he is doing it to get back at her for rejecting him in the past. Diego tell a her that he isn't that immature and really cares about her, but he is still in love with Lydia even though they aren't together!!
So back at Monica's house preparations for her welcome are being done by Lydia, Mago and loud mouth Magda (who's only purpose in this show up to now has been to talk 😏😒😒) They talk about Monica's come back and talk to Lydia about how she is doing after the incident with Braulio. Lydia doesn't like Braulios name to be mentioned and she isn't going g to forgive or get back with Diego no matter how much she loves him. She also doesn't need monica finding out about what Braulio did.
Later monica and the rest arrive, celebrations everywhere, food eating toasting. She talks to Lydia and asks her how she is doing because she seems down. Lydia doesn't tell her why she is like that. Monica clearly still doesn't know that Saul is in prison. She asked Adolfo ho missing in action and Yesenia asks Magda who tells her that they went to carry drinks. Obviously Year doesn't buy this because Monica's hand hasn't fully recovered. She fears the worst.
Meanwhile Adolfo arrived at Altagracias house and Ago wonders why he is there, Adolfo tells her that he didn't come alone and Mona makes her grand entrance! She asks Adolfo to leave them alone as he promised. AG pretends not to know what happened to her 😂😂😂 But Mona tells her to drop the act. AG pretends that she really has no idea what Monica is talking about. Monica comes and stands in front of her and tells her to have the same courage she had when she confronted her about Saul. She wants her to have the courage to finally face up to her daughter! “I know you were there, I heard you call me Mother!! 😱😱”

We continue with Rafael who has just come home from his trip abroad and Leticia tells him that everyone knows that he is the one who ordered the hit against Monica. Rafael tries to deny it but when it's of no use, he decided to admit that he did because she is responsible for his son's death. Leticia is worried about what Altagracia will do to him once he sees him. Rafael doesn't understand why Altagtacia could raise a finger for that sandwich Vendor. Leticia tells him that she wanted to keep this to herself because of the promise she made Valeria but she will tells him because she wants to protect him. He can't lay a hand on Monica for any reason because a mother will never hesitate to kill for their child, even if they abandoned them. Rafael is lost “Monica is Altagracia s daughter!! ”😱😱😱 Rafael can't believe this, no he refuses to believe it. Leticia tells him to not touch the girl, Rafael spent understand how Monica turned out to be Altagracias daughter even after the way she treated her. Leticia knows that the monkeys had something to do with Altagracia, Rafael doesn't want her to ever repeat what she has said to anyone and ever tells anyone about what she knows. Valeria is on her way in.
Rafael leaves them alone and Leticia tells Val about what she told Rafael. She did it to protect him from Altagracia. Valeria asks her what she is hiding about Rafa but Leticia refuses to talk about that. Braulio arrives at the house to take Valeria him by force. Valeria doesn't want to go with him. She is disgusted by him. What he did to her son is unforgivable and she can never go back to him. Braulio wants to impose himself to intimidate the women but they tell him that they will not be intimidated by him, Valeria tells him that he disgusts her as a man and a father, she won't let him dictate her life anymore. 😂😂😂😂 The sexy beast looks beaten, he has never seen Valeria this determined in her life and she doesn't seem one bit intimidated by him. Leticia also come in the conversation and tells him to get the hell out if her house or she will use her influence as a journalist to expose him as the man who drugged and raped his own son's girlfriend. “Get out of my house!! ” Braulio gets the heck out of there like a scared puppy 😂😂😂😂
Diego goes to the vecindad to look for Lydia but meets Azucena. After an exchange of words in which he Azucena is giving him reasons why he can't be there and which Diego is trying to justify his actions he finally Enda up telling her that he is looking for a way to lock his father up for everything he has done.
Back at Altagracias house, AG tries to deny the claims that Monica US making but she tells her that for the fitted time in her life she should tell her the truth. She tells her that she abandoned her twenty years ago and she still left her for dead when she was beaten up by Gabino, she still abandoned her again. Altagracia tells her that “Yes am your mother!! ” Monica is still in shock, but she went her to prison and tortured her, how could she possibly do that? AG tells her that she still didn't know the truth then. She is trying to make herself look unapologetic but she really feels this. She walks accross the room as Monica follows her “And what about the time you confronted me about Saul? ” AG tells her that that was different because Saul is the man she loves. Monica thinks that she has no limits and is cold and blah 😏😶 She then asks about what Gabino told her, is she really a victim of rape and that's why she never loved her?? AG laughs, she tells Monica that no one ever raped her, Gabino is a psychopath, she is the product of a relationship she had obey with a man she loved but died while she was pregnant. Monica wants the truth, would she really leave behind a child that was conceived out of love and pin it on an innocent man like Lazaro, swindle him and take away everything he has. AG clearly not wanting to hurt her with the monkey truth would prefer she continues believing that her mother is the worst kind of woman. She tells her that yes she did it, she pinned the child that she had on Lazaro because she couldn't allow her ambitions to be destroyed by a mere child, she would step on anyone and doesn't give a shit about anything to get power and Monica would only hold her back!!! “This is who I am, I am never gonna change, Am your mother La Doña!! ” 😜😜😂😂😃😄😄
Yesenia calls Adolfo and demands to know where Monica is. Adolfo having no way of getting her off his back tells her that Monica went to Altagracias house. Yesenia shows up there and Altagracia allows her in but tells Matamoros to keep Adolfo out. Adolfo doesn't think that this is fair at all 😂😂😂😂 Yesenia walks in worried and Ag tells her that she is happy she has here, she wants her to clarify to Monica that she isn't a product of a rape. Yesenia doesn't want to do this but Altagracia gives her the eyes 😂😂😂 and Yesy goes along with the lie telling her that her father was the man that Altagracia loved. AG tells Monica that she just didn't want her in the way, she is just cold like that. 😢😭😭😭 and Yesy helped her manipulate and defraud Laz. Monica is angry 😡😡 at her mother, she calls her names telling her that she always knew that her mother was bad but this was worse than she thought. Yesenia is trying to tell her not to talk to her mother like that but Altagracia tells her that Monica has the right time be bitter, let her pour her heart out. Monica continues with her bitterness, “I would rather have been dead than knowing that I had your bad blood! ” She purposely bumps into Altagracia rudely pushing her out of the way as she walks out. AG now sheds some tears as Yesenia knows that she did it to protect Monica, “You don't want her to know that she is the daughter of one of the monkeys because that would kill her! ” Altagracia is shedding tears telling Yesenia that she should go with Monica, she needs her “ Help her, take care of her like the mother I was never able to be for her! ” She sits down as Yesenia walks out 🚶🚶🚶
