SYNOPSIS
Traumatized by the events of a difficult life and driven to avenge the betrayal of a husband, Anastasia Cardona (Kate del Castillo) will find, in the illicit business of her husband, the wealth which she has always desired. Kate plays the show’s protagonist, Anastasia, who faces a battle for vengeance and survival after she takes over her late husband’s cocaine empire. Managing a new business while keeping her enemies at bay proves difficult for Anastasia, but it’s nothing she can’t handle.
Adriana Barraza as Irene Medrano
Oscar-nominated Adriana Barraza plays Irene Medrano in The Queen of Miami, a former lady of the night, who manages to escape from the dark underworld. Dazzled by the bright lights, men and money of the city, she will do anything to provide for her daughter, including becoming involved in Anastasia’s operation and passing on all she knows about the solicitation game.

Conrado San Miguel, played by Jorge Zabaleta, is a Chilean who prefers to keep to himself, whilst running a small marijuana business – until he becomes involved with the hard drugs, that is. Despite his age and the fact that he’s a beloved benefactor of his city, crooked branches never straighten out with age. How far will he go to regain his power over Miami?

Tony plays a man working in the belly of the underworld. He’s a lethal bodyguard and unyielding hitman, but at the same time is a truly faithful servant to his master. The only thing that can bring him down is his love for his boss, the one and only Anastasia Cardona.

While Anastasia is in hospital, Quezada’s men try to attack her again, but Renato saves her. Gina tells Nataniel that she is expecting his child.

Anastasia asks Renato to find and kill the men who assaulted her. Nataniel tells Gina he doesn’t want the baby.

The police arrive at Nataniel’s house looking for information on the shooting at the restaurant. Adan tells Conrado that he regrets selling drugs.
