SYNOPSIS
The protagonist of this telenovela is Alma Hernández Quijano, a woman whom everyone considers good and generous, but in reality their evil has no limits and will stop at nothing to achieve its goals.
The story begins when Don Carlos de la Vega, owner of the jewelry stores De la Vega-Quijano, accuses Jose Luis Hernandez, political nephew of his wife, Josefina Quijano. Ofelia Quijano, Josefina's niece and wife of Jose Luis, requests help to its aunt, but this one only thinks about its own daughter, Roxana, that suffers a terminal illness. Shortly afterwards, Jose Luis and Ofelia undergo a mortal accident of which only survive their daughter, Alma, who goes to an orphanage. At the same time, Roxana dies, leaving her daughter, Daniela, an orphan.
A year later, Josefina, tormented by the guilt of not having helped her niece Ofelia, decides to take care of its niece-granddaughter, the little Soul.
