Camila Espino remembers th painful memories of how she used to live in th streets as a little girl, living off th garbage, until th kids at th orphanage come to greet her. Sr Isabel tells Father Tiziano tht Camila might have a savage exterior, but loves th kids cause they are just like her. Camila comes to ask Sr Isabel if she made th cupcakes she needs to sell. As she is crossing th city, she gets into an accident & screams at th driver of th car. Maximilliano is having breakfast with his mom Marcelina Esquivel. “Your father was here to ask for money” she tells him, but Maximilliano isn’t happy. “Ezequiel Lopez Mendez has been using you for 30 years for your money, he is a thief and cheater! He promised to marry you but has never done so” he tells her mom. Ezequiel Lopez Mendez is giving instructions to Octavia who asks him if Marcelina really gave him th money. La Chila Perez is so happy at her salon cuase she has made a big cosmetics deal. “Where is tht girl tht sweeps? Oh, its so irritating when they go against me” she says as Camila comes to start work sweeping on th floor. Maximilliano accuses his dad of stealing frm his mom. “My mom isn’t your personal bank, dad. This better be th last time you take money frm her” Max tells him. At th saloon, Camila is selling her cupcakes, but she is warned tht La Chila wont love seeing her selling her cakes there. Maximilliano asks La Chila if its true tht his dad made a deal wth her hair salon. “I am making space for th Masquerade makeup line” she tells him. When she goes upstairs, La Chila Perez sees pple eating th cupcakes & begins screaming. “It smells horrible, and its you wretched girl!” she says, and she takes th cupcakes & throws them in th dustbin. Camila grabs her by th hair & pushes her to th floor & roughs her up. “I will take th silicon out of you!” Camila says as she chokes La Chila & beats her up. “Let me go, you savage!” she says. But Camila calls her ungrateful & really beats her up. Maximilliano shows up & grabs Camila to stop her frm beating up La Chila, and when she turns to see who is grabbing her, they look into each other’s eyes. “Let me go!” Camila screams as La Chila complains tht th savage ruined her face & makeup. Maximilliano promises to let her go if she remains calm. Camila remains calm, but then Camila punches him in th face. “You broke my nose! You will go to jail. Take this savage away!” Maximilliano tells th security guards who walk in.
At Masquerade, Astrid Salamanques walks in strutting her behind & when Ezequiel sees her, he starts flirting wth her, saying he never imagined she’d grow up to be so beautiful. When they go into his office, Astrid sees th photos of his kids & most of all, th photo of Maximilliano. “Who is this?” she asks him. “Th best capital I have” he answers. In another part of town, Fausto Aragon de la Rosa congratulates his daughter for th new campaign for Capricho’s makeup line. Afterwards, his nephew Roger comes to tell him tht Masquerade wont release their cosmetic line. In a warehse, Ezequiel sees th mess at th makeup warehouse. “This has Fausto Aragon de la Rosa written all over this! He is going to pay for this. Our families have been at war for years!” Ezequiel tells Octavia. Amelia tells her dad ruining th competition’s warehouse store isn’t good business & tht the war between their families is senseless. At th police station, th police woman asks Camila some mysterious questions about her background & if she grew up at th orphanage run by nuns. “I know you when you were a little girl, but your real name isn’t Camila” she tells her. Roger is in th dark parking lot when he gets ambushed by Ezequiel (who is smoking a cigar) and his two other sons, Leandro and Javier. Ezequiel prepares to torture Roger. He has his sons take off his shirt, hold him down and whip him. He screams in pain as he swears one day Ezequiel is going to pay. “Whoever plays wth Ezequiel Lopez Mendes pays the price 10 times!” he tells Roger as he almost burns him wth the end of his cigar. At th station, th police woman asks Camila if she found her mom cause after she was left at th station, some woman came looking for her & said her name was Isabel Blanco. Camila tells her its not true, cause her mom died. “How do you know your name isn’t Isabel Blanco? You have always been a wild one, and when th nuns took you, they baptized you again” she tells her. Maximilliano shows up to say tht Camila’s bail has been paid.
Ezequiel shows up to his office to find a funeral wreath in his office. “This is Fausto’s doing!” Octavia says as Ezequiel shouts at her, saying he needs to find th person who has been sending him th funeral wreaths. As Fausto is screaming at Roger for being humiliated by Ezequiel Lopez Mendez, th same funeral wreath tht Ezequiel got is delivered to him. “Not again, its this mourner sending these flowers. Get them out of here!” he orders. Astrid asks Ezequiel if he knows who sent him th flowers. “Girl, you might be beautiful, but stupid! If I knew who sent th flowers, I’d have found them by now” he says as he then orders Octavia to take Astrid to her new office & teach her not to ask stupid questions. “I know its you sending th flowers, Rosa Blanco!” Ezequiel says after they leave. At th orphanage, Camila tells Sr Isabel th story of th police officer frm th station, but Sr Isabel tells her tht some years ago, some woman called Isabel Blanco came to th orphanage, and Sr Isabel shows Camila a photo of her in front of a strange hse. “This is me! I remember this day and th day I wore this dress. I remember tht hse. If tht girl is me, then tht woman called Isabel Blanco is my mother!” Camila says. Sr Isabel explains tht th lady disappeared & never came back. “Now I have to look for my mom cause I have so many questions. Why did she leave me on th street?” Camila says.
During dinner at th Lopez Mendez mansion, Ezequiel introduces Max to th guests, including Astrid & her parents. “Astrid is going to be th president of th Masquerade Foundation” his dad explains, also introducing everyone to his other daughter, Julia. “Octavia manages everything at th office, but I pay her so tht she doesn’t confuse th roles” Ezequiel says. He then asks Max wht happened to his nose. At th boarding hse, Yeli cant believe tht Maximiliano bailed Camila out of jail, but she is too preoccupied wth th discovery tht her mom is alive. “She abandoned me on th street when I was 5 then yrs later when she finds me, she disappears” Camila says. At th orphanage, Sr Isabel tells Fr Tiziano tht she felt pity for Camila & told her part of th truth. “You did wrong after we swore never to tell tht girl th truth” Fr Tiziano says. Sr Isabel thinks its time they told Camila th truth.
Fausto is furious to find out tht Amelia tht has been chatting with Sebastian Lopez Mendez & forbids her frm chatting wth him. “Oh, so you want me to stop having friends, to stop wearing skirts” Amelia asks her dad who almost slaps her before her mom Patricia Aragon de la Rosa stops him. At that point, Roger comes wth his bruises & tells his Uncle Fausto tht Ezequiel Lopez Mendez and his sons cornered him & beat him up. “See, these are th beasts you are defending!” Fausto tells Amelia. Camila is laughing at th photos Yeli took of her fighting wth La Chila Perez. Nxt morning, Camila is at Masquerade to apologize to Max. “Look secretary, I’ve been waiting here for an hour! You will look for th owner of this dump now!” Camila shouts. “Well, well, well, you are lucky, you want to see th owner of th dump, here he is” Ezequiel appears behind her, asking her wht a beautiful woman like here was doing there.
“Look mister, respect those gray hairs of yours, they look ridiculous on you. Now I’m going in Max, MAX” Camila shouts. Ezequiel seems to be taken wth Camila. “That’s how I like my women, feisty. Find out who tht girl is” Ezequiel tells th receptionist. Its th day of th launch of th new line of Masquerade makeup where Amelia has gone to see wht th competition is doing. Suddenly, there is an explosion. In an excluded garage, there is a Breaking Bad showdown between th Lopez Mendez and Aragon de la Rosa’s, and both sides take out their guns, ready to shoot. Max gives Camila a job cleaning th warehouse

“Don’t dare touch me agan, you think you are so macho cause you’re a rich guy who hides behind his family” Camila says. “fine, but wht we have is btwn you and me & wht is happening btwn us” Max says. “I don’t want anything frm you, I know about womanizers like you who lie so tht we fall into your trap” she says & goes back to work. Max continues staring at her wth those deep blue eyes of his. Screaming is all over at th Masquerade party. Julia goes to help Amelia Aragon de la Rosa. “Leave her there to die Julia, lets get out of here!” Octavia tells her as poor Amelia is on th floor, coughing. At th car lot, both sides lower their guns as Ezequiel asks Fausto if he hasn’t been sending th funeral wreaths, then they have another enemy. “Tht sicko knows I’m no small enemy” he says. Fausto asks they make a deal, th first one to know who sends th flowers shld tell th other. Octavia tells th firefighters tht it was Amelia who planted th bomb at th party. “Its obvious we have a mutual enemy, we shld work together to destroy them” Fausto tells him. “Wht if I find who th mourner is & I discover its you? Shld I just kill you?” Ezequiel asks Fausto. He then gets a call frm Julia telling him about th explosion. At that moment, Fausto shows Ezequiel th middle finger as he gets into his truck. At th warehse, Maximiliano offers Camila a job without strings attacked, but she refuses saying her debt is paid. “Just in case you decide to come back, th doors are always open” he tells her. “Don’t have any mercy for tht woman!” Octavia tells th firefighters, but Amelia leaves cause she cant stand th insults anymore. Astrid asks wht they found about th bomb. “I’m sure its tht Fausto!” Octavia says. Ezequiel arrives at th scene, wanting to know if her baby girl is ok. “It was Fausto, her daughter was here” Octavia says. “don’t be a nuisance Octavia, don’t you think I already know who is responsible?” Ezequiel replies. Everyone is giving suggestions on how to handle th matter but Ezequiel shuts them all up.
Amelia gets home almost in pain & tells her mom about th explosion. “but why did you go there?” Patricia asks. Amelia explains she just went to know wht th competitior was doing. “I know you just went looking for Sebastian. Is he back frm Spain?” Patricia asks. Amelia insists on going to Sebastian in Spain cause he has been mysterious for a long time. “I wont be ok until tht Fausto Aragon rots in a cell, he almost hurt my little girl” Ezequiel says. He then puts Max to investigate th incident. “I even want to know th color of underwear of every woman who was here. Its time to put Fausto Aragon out of th market permanently” Ezequiel says. “All I know is tht if th bomb went off, my silicon wld have been like popcorn popping all over & how much I needed to reconstruct myself” La Chila Perez says, as she begins explaining how she almost melted after seeing th muscular firefighters. Camila comes to ask her to pay for th cupcakes she ruined. “I’m not like you looking for any dog tht must be willing. You plastic, sad old maid” Camila tells La Chila. “Ugh, take this dried, animal skin out of here!” La Chila screams. Yeli takes Camila out to calm her down cause she is always fighting wth everyone. “How did it go wth Max” she asks. “He almost kissed me. He grabbed me by th waist but nothing happened, he offered me a fulltime job but..” Camila says. Yeli tells her she hopes she took th job cause her salary cant sustain both of them. Fausto gets home & finds Amelia in pain. “Oh dad, I went to see wht our competitors were doing, but I didn’t tell you cause I knew you wld be upset, but I know you knew all about th sabotage” she tells her dad. “I’m no murderer!” Fausto says, even getting approval frm Roger & Fernando. “Fausto, this war wth th Lopez Mendez is absurd, I cant stand it” Patricia says.
Ezequeil is still mad about th attack as Octavia asks him why he treats her badly. “I have given everything to you & this family. Do you ever ask if Im sick or happy?” Octavia asks. “Why shld I ask sth tht I see as clear as day everyday? Wht do you call a woman who leaves her door open every single night so tht I can cool off frm a hot day? Sr Octavia? Be very careful cause you might just end up alone” Ezequiel tells poor Octavia (PS: Anyone notice tht Octavia is Carolina frm La mujer perfecta?) Camila is at th orphanage where she tells Sr Isabel tht she wants to look for th hse in th photo & needs a job to investigate where her mom is. Max delivers flowers to Astrid to apologize for th incident at th Masquerade event. Astrid wastes no time to begin seducing Max (Max is even being too much ofa gentleman wth this viper). “Fausto isn’t stupid, he knows I wont just sit here waiting. He must be wondering where I’ll strike next” Ezequeil tells his sons Javier & Leandro. They come up wtha plan of destroying Caprice’s catalogues since they don’t store their merchandise in a warehse. “Destroy what dad?” Julia asks, coming into th dining room. “I was discussing with your bros tht starting tomorrow, we have to work together. BTW sweetie, have you heard sth frm Sebastian?” Ezequiel asks. Leandro & Javier suggest tht they call Sebastian who is just enjoying himself in Spain. “Are both of you stupid? You’re just jealous tht he is studying in Spain, why didn’t you do th same? You know he is my favorite, th best to represent th Lopez Mendez name, th rest of you are Lopez Mendez just in name” Ezequiel tells his two sons.
Max tells his mom Marcelina about th woman he met who is a real devil, a savage who is out of her mind. At th boarding hse, Camila & Yeli are told they are behind on rent. Yeli tells her she needs to take up th job Max offered her. Over Skype, Amelia is talking wth Sebastian who tells her tht he will be coming back frm Spain soon. “Arent you afraid to find your mom?” Yeli asks Camila. “I need her to explain why she abandoned me? I’ve been trying to survive ever since I was 5 yrs old, trying to figure out where to sleep, wht to eat? I need her to look me in th eyes and tell me a reason” Camila says, adding she cant forget about it. At th orphanage, Sr Isabel is praying to th virgin Mary for strength to help Camila. Ezequiel is smoking his cigars, wondering who sends th flowers every yr. “It cant be you Rosa Blanco, cause you are dead” he says. Octavia goes to see her sister Marcelina, telling her tht Ezequiel got another funeral wreath & she shld tell her th truth about them. “Last time you asked if he had received wreath right before he got it” Octavia says, adding tht Ezequiel wont believe her cause he just manipulates her for her money & he only loves her. “Get out of here before I forget you are my sister1” Marcelina pushes Octavia out. Nxt day, La Chila Perez is flirting wth Max, telling him tht he shld get rid of tht Camila forever. Just then, Camila arrives shouting. “See this woman is following me everywhere, get her out of here” La Chila says. Fausto tells Fernando to be careful wth th catalogues cause Ezequiel might do sth to retaliate. Amelia comes to pitch an idea to her dad about a cosmetics company in Spain tht makes natural beauty products. “do you think I’m stupid, women are stupid when they fall in love you just want to go see Sebastain Lopez Mendez. I forbid you frm leaving th country” Fausto tells her. LA Chila threatens to take off Camila’s eyes wth her nails, as Camila promises to deflate her silicon breasts. After La chila leaves, Camila tells Max she accepts his job offer. Octavia takes La Chila to Ezequiel’s office. “I came across Camila Espino, tht filthy savage. You know I don’t spread gossip, but she disfigured my face, look1” La Chila tells Ezequiel. Leandro & Javier steal Caprice’s catalogues & set them on fire. Max comes back to find Camila applying lipstick samples on his table. “don’t put those on, they were returned cause they were toxic” Max says & takes out his handkerchief to take off th lipstick frm her lips. La Chila Perez sees Camila & tells Ezequiel she is th savage who also broke Max’s nose. “Its tht savage dog” she screams as Camila is about to attack her too. Ezequiel tells max to go see if La Chila is ok while he deals wth th firecracker. “Her name is Camila, and I wont leave you wth her cause I know how you handle th female employees” Max tells her. Ezequiel tells him he is opposing him in front of everyone when he sees Sr Isabel coming & call her by her name. “You know each other?” Camila asks

“Sr Isabel, its been a long time. You must want sth if you are here” Ezequiel tells th nun as Camila asks her where she knows Ezequiel Mendez Lopez. “Look Mr Lopez, I apologize for all th fighting now tht I know you donate to th orphanage” Camila tells Ezequiel. Max comes wth Astrid who is just making uncomfortable faces. Max then tells Camila she can start on her first day of work & Sr Isabel congratulates her. As they are about to leave after burning Caprice’s catalogues, Leandro gets an epileptic episode & Javier has to lift him up into th car as he hears th police coming. “That cave woman shld be in jail, she needs a man to tame her. I don’t even know why Max bailed her out” Sheila tells Ezequiel who is surprised by tht piece of info. Sheila shows off her silicon parts to Ezequiel in a flirting manner as she leaves his office. Amelia tells her mom how she fell in love wth Sebastian yrs ago. “Oh sweetheart, you choose th worst candidate to fall in love wth” Patricia tells her. Fausto discovers tht th catalogues are missing, th driver who was bribed earlier by th Lopez Mendez lies tht he was ambushed. “So Ezequiel did it again. We launch our product tomorrow & we need th catalogues” Fausto says. He then calls one of his staff to go pick up his son Gregory frm th airport. Maximilliano takes Camila thru wht she needs to do in her job. He offers to take Camila around since its her first day. Astrid goes looking for Max & she is told Max left wth Camila. “What, he left wth th savage frm earlier?” Astrid says. She then leaves a note inviting him for dinner, telling herself she needs to know him better. Luciano Salamanques, Astrid’s dad, comes to ask Fausto why he put a bomb at Masquerade. “If someone hits me, I hit back” he tells him. Javier tells Octavia tht Leandro got a fit on th way. “I stopped taking my medicine some few days ago. I just want to be normal, but pls don’t tell my dad, he will think I’m useless & wont allow me to go to work” Leandro begs Octavia.
While doing her rounds wth Max, Camila sees her god-mother Elda Salamanques (who is also Astrid’s mom) & she asks her wht she is doing wth Max. “I’m so happy to see you god-mother. I just found out tht my mom was looking for me” Camila tells her. Elda asks her to stop by her hse later. Patricia & Amelia are so happy to see Gregory, th baby of th family who is back in Venezuela after studying abroad. “We are going to have a celebration cause th youngest of th family is back” Patricia says. Julia tells Octavia tht as soon as she turns 18, she will move out. “I want to leave my life & not live in anguish like you. I cant stand anther day in this hse & this war wth th Aragon’s” Julia says. Meanwhile, Ezequiel is already playing cupid. “Julia is about to be 18 yrs old, so you can woo her, but intelligently. I want you to sweep her off her feet, fill her wth gifts, spoil her, we understand each other?” Ezequiel tells Celso who replies tht he has always admired Julia. “Admire? No, you admire a sports car, but when you are wooing her, don’t make it look like an arranged marriage. But if you hurt my daughter for every tear she sheds, I will take 10 drops of your blood” Ezequiel tells him. Camila tells Max about Elda being her god-mother & how she is looking for her mom. “I want th baby boy of th family to give me a hug” Fausto says, giving Gregorio a hug. Patricia is so happy tht all their kids are grown up. They pop’ some champagne to celebrate. Max asks Camila if her boyfriend will help her, but she tells him she has never had a boyfriend. “I want to help you look for your mother” Max tells Camila, holding her hand & gazing into her eyes.
Ezequiel comes into his son’s office to ask him wht he is trying to do wth Camila. “I don’t have to think you are sponsoring tht girl in th company. I wanted to thank you for hiring her, cause I’m interested in her, very interested” Ezequiel says. “Be very careful, Camila isn’t one of th models you have fun wth” Max tells his dad. “Of course, tht girl is likea firecracker. Remember tht I’m th father here, and wht I do wth my firecracker or any other woman is none of your business” he tells Max. Sr Isabel tells Fr Tiziano she saw Camila at th Lopez Mendez company & she is working there. Camila goes to see Elda to ask questions about her mom. She promises to help her. “If Sr Isabel came back, its for sth, and I will find out wht it is” Ezequiel. Julia comes & they discuss about her 18th birthday. “Come tell your dad, is there any boyfriend I’m not aware of?” Ezequiel asks her. Elda introduces Astrid to Camila, but Astrid pretends as if she doesn’t recognize her. “No darling, I don’t have th slightest clue who you cld be” Astrid tells her. “Oh god-mother, I didn’t know you have such a charming daughter, she reminds me of Easter morning” she says. After Camila leaves, Astrid asks her mom why she interacts wth low class pple such as Camila. At home, Max is trying to convince her mom to be more involved in th business cause she has invested her money thru Ezequiel. “I’m going to get all your money back, every penny Ezequiel Lopez Mendez has taken” Max tells her. Th doorbell rings & tht slut viper Astrid shows up. Max introduces her & Marcelina asks if she is th one who broke his nose. She goes to sleep & Max tells Astrid about her condition.
Camila tells Yeli about her day; Yeli shows her some beautiful flowers delivered to her. “These flowers are ugly, I don’t like them, cause taking gifts frm men is always dangerous” Camila says. Ezequiel laughs when Octavia tells him tht its Marcelina who sends th funeral wreaths. “You are saying this cause Marcelina is th millionaire of th family & you have to work for me & earn a pathetic salary. Oh, and leave th door of your room open cause btwn now and two drinks, I might pass by” he tells her. Octavia asks him if he is serious. “You are like a child in th toy store, I said I might. But make sure you look pretty, and put on tht perfume I like, who knows” Ezequiel tells her. Astrid is ready to sink her claws into Max, especially after he tells her tht Ezequiel takes money frm his mom all th time & he is going to get it back since its his inheritance. Nxt day, Luciano tells Ezequiel th Chamber of Commerce is concerned about th war btwn him & Fausto. Caprice is having th launch of their makeup line, but they don’t know tht Ezequiel has a plan to ruin them. “Take your flowers, and I think this is an abuse. Just cause you gave me a job doenst mean you can take advantage of me” Camila walks into Max’s office just when he is wth Astrid. Max tells her tht he didn’t send those flowers. Amelia is worried tht sth bad can happen at th event. Javier makes a call to th bomb squad tht there is a bomb at th Caprice event. Ezequiel goes to see Marcelina. “You know Marcelina, there is sth tht doesn’t give me peace of mind. Did you send a funeral werath to my office? Are you th mourner?” Ezequiel asks her, while pressing hard on her shoulders. Sr Isabel asks Elda not to mention anything about her mom. Camila comes and finds both of them together
