Jose Antonio Gallardo escapes with his captor and gives him directions to where the money is hidden.

At the spa, Linda tries to sign up for Dario’s spa, but Veronica tells her she is not welcome at the spa because of Isadora. At the Del Junco Ranch, the Flavio and Samuel listen to Felipe’s war stories when Soledad arrives. The family all sit down to a dinner the girls prepared.
Linda tells Emilio that she wasn’t allowed to join the spa, and he promises to fix this situation as soon as he is done with his meeting with Ulysses. As he leaves, Linda receives a call.

Back at the ranch, Felipe proposes a toast to the family with hope that Cayetana will one day join them. Samuel formally asks for Andrea’s hand in marriage, which Felipe happily accepts and welcomes Samuel to the family with open arms.


At the Palenque, Patricia performs as Dario and Edward arrive. Edward wants Candela to shower him with affection like Patricia does with Ulysses, but Dario tells him not to confuse things- Patricia and Ulysses are married, he’s not just another customer.


Meanwhile, Soledad serves the family coffee and her sweet rice, Felipe’s favorite. Irina compliments Soledad’s dish but Flavio warns her not to eat too much or she’ll get sick. He remarks that she’s been awfully dizzy and nauseated lately but Sofia deftly changes to subject. Veronica arrives to visit, to congratulate Samuel and Andrea on their engagement. But as the party continues, Felipe’s good meaning attempts to reconcile Soledad and Veronica lead to Soledad passing out.
Pablo finds Cabrera and Rocio together, and says it is time for them to have a talk, the three of them. Meanwhile, attempts to revive Soledad are unsuccessful. Irina and Flavio go looking for Rocio, when the phone rings. Felipe asks Flavio to answer- it could be emergency services, but it’s unfortunately Cayetana, who demands to know what Flavio is doing in her house. Leonardo takes the phone and threatens to send Mendez to kick out the boys by force. Flavio replies that he can threaten all he wants- this house is his wife’s and he will see her when he wants. Felipe praises Flavio for standing up to Leonardo as the paramedics arrive and are led upstairs by Irina.


Pablo asks Rocio and Cabrera what is going on between them, but Rocio lies and tells Pablo that Cabrera is chasing her even though she told him she is engaged and pregnant. Cabrera, confused, agrees to back off.
Linda goes to a shady club to meet with Isadora, who had called her earlier. The Houston police show up- they had trailed Linda to the club. Isadora leads Linda to a man and makes it seem like they were there together, while she escapes.


Flavio fills in his brothers on Leonardo’s call, as Mendez and the cowboys show up on Leonardo’s orders. The girls stop them- they are owners of this ranch as well, and the Gallardos are their guests. Arturo recommends that Mendez follow the girls’ orders, or they will have to call the police that are guarding the ranch outside.


The paramedics revive Soledad, and leave her with Veronica, who had been very frightened by Soledad’s episode. Soledad is happy though- because she realizes that Veronica worries about her. They two of them take a step toward reconciling.


Back at the Palenque, Emilio is explaining a new shipment to Ulysses and Roger when Isadora shows up. She demands to speak to Emilio, who leads her to the back office. Isadora tells Emilio she knows who she is now, and who he is now- he is not her father. Meanwhile, Edward apologizes to Candela.


Cabrera lets the family know that they can only keep police vigilance for a week more. He advises them to hire private security, which Felipe agrees. Arturo and the brothers go to check on Soledad and find her having a mother-daughter moment with Veronica.
The episode ends with Jose Antonio digging up his treasure with his captor
